Mars Rover Curiosity Self Portrait

A machine taking a selfe. I think one of the most interesting images that technology can offer for the last decade or so. This image was compiled from a number of photos Curiosity took, it seems as if it did not take it on it's own. The perspective is distorted to get everything in one image much like the selfie's we are used to on social media. The cultural trend of the selfie exists because of the tech and back again. This piece is one layer in 30x30in, oil on canvas.
