Met Sculpture second layer

History tends to remove, over time we try to reconstruct. Like the sculpture of pieces put together, the whole is readily viewed. On closer inspection the missing pieces and scares become grotesque. The fragile features such as the nose are entirely missing. At the neck and side of face the cracks become more pronounced demanding for further inspection.
